Monthly Favourites-June 2014

Bonjour!

How are you all I hope your all doing great. I've only got two more weeks of school left before I break up for summer. Whoop! Whoop! #cantwait

Top: Black Lace Top- it's got a Peter Pan Collar and the back is see through so I often wear it with a Cami underneath which can add a pop of colour to my outfit.

Bottoms: light wash denim shorts-I've had a chance to wear my shorts a few times this month as we've had some days of nice weather.

Jewellery: loom bands-I really like making them and you can use colours that match your outfit or compliment it and there are endless possibilities.

Wardrobe Essential: black leggings-there's nothing much to say about them other than there comfy, practical and look good. You can dress them up and down so you can wear them out to dinner or around the house.

Randoms
Food: Greek yoghurt and fruit-I have this after my cereal in the morning or as a dessert after tea
Homemade Fruit ice Lollies-they're really yummy and refreshing and HEALTHY!!

DIY-Loom Band Bracelets

Guten Tag,

Heya everyone, today I'm doing something a little different to my other posts so let me know if you like it or not in the comments.

So this is my first DIY and I thought I would show you how to make a simple single loom band bracelet. There are lots of different styles you can make but this is the easiest one to make.

So here's what you'll need to make the bracelet.

Now we've got everything we need let's get started!

Step 1.

Place your first band over two prongs of your loom or two fingers and put and 's' clip in the middle and then place your next band on top

Step 2.

Get one side of the white band with your hook and let go
Then get the other side and let go

Step 3.

Place your next band over the two prongs

Then do the same as last time hook and drop
Then repeat until it gets to the size of your wrist then stop

Step 4.

Hook the band that is left on the prongs onto the hook and attach to the 's' clip

Ta-dah! You have made a single loom bracelet

What I wear to the gym

Hello everyone,

I hope your all feeling great! Sorry I've not posted in a while but I've been really busy with school and revising as this week is a week of exam oh what joys! So here's today's post, what I wear to the gym.

I recently joined the gym and go two times a week sometimes more (if I'm not at school) and sometimes less. I am really enjoying the gym even though I wasn't too sure at first whether I would or not. I was a bit nervous that there would just be people who had already reached there goal and had perfect bodies already but I soon learned that it wasn't. There were people of all different shapes and sizes, people who just went on one machine and people who went on them all! It's really fun to go to and the staff are all really friendly. The machines are all great and there are lots to have a go on; there's treadmills and stationary bikes, rowing machines and cross trainers and lots of floor space with mats and steps. There are also lots of different weight machines that I don't know the names of! But you can only go on them when your 16 so just another 3 more years! All of the people who go are really cheerful. It's a really great atmosphere and you feel really good after you've exorcised.

Anyway enough of me rambling on about what it's like at the gym because you need to decide what to wear before you get there.

I don't compromise style for practicality when I exercise.
I normally, well always wear black 3/4 length leggings. They don't stick to you and you don't get too hot in them as they let you breath.

What top I wear varies between a few different styles and I just wear what I feel like at the time or whatever's not in the wash!

1- a grey 3/4 length graphic top
I like this top because it's a bit baggy but not too much and the lettering just adds something to the whole outfit.

2- a graphic tee
I wear this top because it give some colour and adds something interesting to
the overall look. And the numbers are big and bold.

3- a grey t-shirt
I like wearing this one and it's actually a short sleeve top but I roll the sleeves under because I think it look better.

4- a turquoise sport top
It's turquoise with thin grey stripes. I wear a camisole underneath it as it's a bit see through. I wear either a white camisole or a coloured one because the colour shows through the top.

5- a light green muscle tee

I like this one as it's slightly baggy which is good for working out in. I also wear a white or coloured camisole under this one.

I wear my white trainers with blue accents. I really love these trainers as there comfy and they have a cushioned heel. Also on the top of the trainers at the front there are section that allow you to see the colour of your socks through the trainers so I often wear coulored or patterned socks when I go to the gym.

The bag I take is a pink Nike sports bag I take in it with me a change of clothes and a pair of shoes to change into, a towel, deodorant, body spray, headphones, a bottle of water, a hoodie, moisturiser and my purse with my gym card in.

That's it for today I hoped you liked it.
