A Little Catch Up...

Hey guys,
so you may have noticed recently that I've been a bit off schedule and that's not only because I was on holiday but also because I've got mock exams in just over a month so I've been revising. On top of that I'm also currently doing my bronze DofE award so I'll be off on quite a few practice expeditions on the weekends. So because of all of this I've decided that I won't be posting to a schedule but just when I can. I'll hopefully get back to a schedule in the Summer.
I hope it's all right with all of you and I'll see you when I see you,

5 Places I Want to Visit | Hidden Gems

Hello everybody,
so in Monday's post I mentioned a book that I purchased called Lonely Planet's Ultimate Travelist and I've been looking through it and found some interesting looking places that I don't think many people will have heard of so I thought that I'd show them to you in case your interested in travelling or just want to go to an unusual place on holiday.
I tried to pick places that I hadn't heard of and were not in a place I would normally think of if I was thinking of a holiday destination.

The first place I want to mention is actually ranked number 1 in the book and it's The Temples of Angkor. They are located in Buddhist Cambodia and are a collection of temples all different and unique. The main ones to go and see are Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm. but there are also loads of other temples to go and visit and there are beautiful images of the temples at both sunrise and sunset which really makes me want to go and visit.
Next is The IguazĂș Falls in South America. The waterfalls are on the borders of Argentina and Brazil and is part of the 55000-hectare rain forest that makes up The IguazĂș National Park. It's in a beautiful setting surrounded by all sorts of different types of nature and wildlife.
Lake Baikal in Russia is the deepest lake on the planet; it plummets an astounding 1642m and has a 2000km long shore line! it looks so beautiful especially in winter when turquoise ice forms. I do think that you could take some absolutely amazing photos whilst you're there and experience a lot of things too.
The second to last place is Mo'orea. It's an island in the Pacific Ocean thats known for the near vertical volcanic mountains. All of the pictures I've seen of it look photo shopped it's that beautiful and I just think this would be an amazing place to visit.
The Final one is number 499 in the book but I think it looks so amazing. The Grand Palace in Thailand, the palace looks spectacular and so bright against the rest of the city.

If you liked today's post then be sure to let me know as I'm thinking of doing more posts like this. That's all for today's post,

A Weekend Away in London

Hey Guys,
sorry for not posting on Saturday; I was in London for the weekend with my friends. So I thought that today I would fill you in on what we did.
We went down to London as it was one of my best friends, Alice's birthday on March 15th so it was for her birthday but we could only all meet up this weekend. We set off quite early for the holidays as we met at the station at 8:15 and then got the train down to London and arrived at eleven. Alice's Auntie met us there as she was looking after us and helping us get around.
First we headed to Oxford Street to go shopping and went to all of the classic shops like Topshop and Urban Outfitters and quite a few more. I actually didn't splurge I just bought a really cool book called Lonely Planet's Ultimate Travelist which is full of 500 fabulous place to go and experience and see. Travelling is something I really want to do so I thought this book was a good book to buy and look through for inspiration.
After we'd done shopping on and around Oxford Street we had planned to go to Covent Garden but then we all decided that we weren't really in the mood and were ready for a sit down after a good few hours shopping; so instead we headed back to the hotel we were staying at and chilled for a bit before we took a trip to the M&S round the corner from the hotel to get some treats! We also spotted an Oliver Bonas shop down the road so we also had a look in there and I saw the frames that I want to get so now my heart is set on them so I'll be ordering them after I finish writing this!
When we got back to the hotel we decided to order a Domino's and ate that in our room before we got ready to go to the theatre. So then we headed to the theatre to see Mamma Mia which was so amazing I definitely recommend it to any one who loves Abba and musicals and drama and rom coms and really I just feel like most people would enjoy it to be honest with you.
When we got back to the hotel after seeing the play we were all tired but hyper from the play which was a funny mix and we got up to a lot of fun! until we finally went to sleep at nearly 2am!!
In the morning we had to be out of the hotel by 9am so were slightly rushed when getting ready but then headed out to breakfast before we went to the London Dungeons which was such a great experience and I think my favourite bit was either the court room or the ride at the end.
After the Dungeons we went for lunch at Pizza Express before heading to the IMAX to watch Batman v Superman which I'm not going to lie was quite hard to follow; but the IMAX was amazing. It was like walking into a massive arena and being on the front row! the screen was just huge and filled the room.
We had to leave a few minutes before the end of the movie to get back for the train to Sheffield after an absolutely amazing weekend with my best friends and if you are ever in London and have the chance to experience any of the things I got to then I would definitely say to go to it as you need to grab every experience and opportunity that you get given.

I hope you liked this post and I promise that I'll get back to the normal schedule for my posts next week, see you then,

5 Things to See and Do in Florida

Hello everyone,
so I thought that today to be able to show you more of my holiday pics and to share with you what I got up to while I was in Florida so lets get straight on into it:

1. Go to Disney World - I feel like this is quite an obvious thing to do in Florida and a classic tourist thing but it is a really good experience and a lot of fun too. I went to all of the Disney Parks and thought they were all amazing. I would have to say though my favourite was Hollywood Studios because of The Tower of Terror and The Rock 'n' Roller-coaster but it depends who you're going with. If you're with younger kids or just love Disney and want to see all the characters then defiantly go to Magic Kingdom and if you like animals then the Safari in Animal Kingdom is really good. I'd also definitely recommend staying late to see the fireworks and parade.
2. Eat at the Hard Rock Cafe - We went to eat in the Hard Rock Cafe in City Walk on the first night and of course me being me and being a tourist I bought a Hard Rock Cafe jumper. But the food was actually really nice there and we were sat near both Madonna and Rihannas outfits!
3. Go to a Water Park - Going to a water park is essential in Florida to cool off. I went to Typhoon Lagoon twice as when we planned to go to Blizzard Beach lots of the rides were closed so we went back to Typhoon Lagoon also you have to go in the big pool when the massive waves are on because it is so fun but go far into the pool because that is definitely the best place to be. I would also say go to a water park in the middle or towards the end of your holiday because then it's like a bit more relaxing than queuing for rides in the other parks so it's a nice break.

4. Shop, Shop and Shop! - If you know me then you'll know that I absolutely LOVE shopping! so I went to a few places. I went the Orlando Premium Outlets on International Drive as I'm a shopper but I'm a lover of a good bargain! I got a few things from there as well as from the Florida Mall which we went to on another day because I feel like it's nice when you go to a new place to go to like a mall or shopping centre to just see what shops they have and how they shop in other places around the world. I bought a fair few things while I was away so I might do a haul on Saturday for you to show you what I got.
5. Go to Universal - Just like Disney this is a typical touristy thing to do but it is really good if you're wanting to go to the parks for the rides then universal is the place to go they have a lot bigger and more rides in both of their parks but I think I enjoyed Universal Studios the best out of all of the parks I went to as I really enjoyed the rides and I think my favourite ride of the whole holiday has to be The Revenge of The Mummy Ride and I also recommend The Simpsons Ride and Harry Potter one there too.

I hope that you liked this post and let me know if you've been to Florida and what your favourite thing to do was, see you on Saturday,

5 Top Tips to Avoid Jet Lag

Hey Guys,
so as you'll know I recently got back from Florida which from England has a time difference of 4 or 5 hours depending if it's British summer time or winter time. I've also been to New York a couple of times so I've got some tips to help you minimise/avoid jet lag so lets get on into them.
  1. Have a good nights sleep - The night before you fly, try and get to sleep early so that you are awake and full of energy because travelling can be really tiring especially if it is a long flight.
  2. Change your clock - As soon as you get on the plane change the time on your watch, phone, tablet, laptop etc. to the time it is at your destination so that you immediately get into the mindset and time frame of where you're going to.
  3. Eat the right meals at the right time - Once you've set your clocks to the time at your destination you need to eat meals on the plane at times that are good to eat according to your clock. You also need to eat the right meal for the time. If the plane is going to serve meals that aren't the meals that are correct for the time your now saying it is (which is probably likely) then depending on which airline you're travelling with then take food with you in your hand luggage or if you can't take it through security then there is always place to buy food in the airport.
  4. Sleep when you should be asleep - Just like eating, sleeping needs to be at the right time too. If you are on the plane at night but it's day time at the place you are going then stay awake and do something that will keep you awake until it's night time where you're going. This will also really help you to adjust quicker when you arrive.
  5. Stay awake! - Once you have arrived then you need to immediately adjust to the new time so even if you are tired then STAY AWAKE until it is night time or if you aren't tired but it's night time then go to sleep; you need to get your body clock to adjust quickly too.
I hope this has helped you if you're going on a flight soon, if you are then let me know where you are going in the comments,

Sorry...

Hey everyone,
So as you may have noticed I've not posted anything over the past couple of weeks as I've been on holiday. While I away in Florida I wasn't able to get WiFi when I was in the villa that we were staying in which meant that I was only able to go on the internet for a little bit when I was at the parks and out for tea etc. which were times that I was doing stuff so I didn't have much time to write and post.

To make up for it I will be posting on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday next week which I hope makes it up to you guys. I would write a full on post today but I am super jet lagged from all the travelling and didn't he back till early yesterday morning and the clocks went forward and hour here in England while I was away which is not very helpful at all! Therefore I feel like the post would not be up to my usual standard so I don't really want to post something today that won't very good.

I hope that this is okay with you all and that you've all had or are having a lovely Easter,

Who I'm Loving | March 2016

Hey guys,
it's been a little while since I've done a who I'm loving post so I thought that I'd do one for you today so let's just get straight on into it:
I thought that I'd start with YouTubers that I've been loving and whose video I've really been enjoying watching;

In terms of like sit down main channel vlogs I have recently found Saffron Barker who's videos I'm really enjoying watching and I'm really getting back into Gabriella's videos too.
I've also been really enjoying watching vloggers like Aspyn + Parker, PointlessBlogVlogs and OliWhiteVlogs. I think it's just because I'm quite a nosey person and like to know what ever ones doing and stuff like that and vlogs show a lot more into people lives. So actually let me know who your favourite  YouTube vlogger is in the comments.
Connor Franta's latest video and a few of his previous one have been really inspirational so go and watch some of them and I also really love his instagram as he's amazing at photography too.
Alex Aiono's covers are also incredible so if you haven't already then definitely go and check them out because he is so talented and has an amazing voice.

Now on to blogs; I've been liking FitSugar's posts on workouts and healthy tips and things, But I am still really loving Career Girl Daily and I think that's got to be my current favourite blog by far! Let me know what your favourite blog is at the minute by leaving a comment down below. If you follow me on Bloglovin' you can also see what specific posts I've been saving so if you're not already click the link in the sidebar to follow me.

I also thought that I would include some snapchats in this post as well because I've been getting really into watching peoples snapchat stories.
Anna Sacconejoly's (asacconejoly) story is like a short vlog she constantly posts to it and keeps you informed on what she is doing form morning till night. As well as hers I've also been loving Joe Sugg's (thatcherjoe) as he doesn't post loads but they are often funny and it brightens up my day when I'm looking at everyone's stories and then I click on his.

Right that's it for today's  post I'm travelling to Florida on Saturday but hopefully there should still be a post going up so see you then,

What to Pack | Clothes

Hello everybody,
I'm sorry for not posting on Wednesday I've just been super busy and was out till late on Wednesday night watching my schools play that some of my friends were in. But on to today, since I'm going on holiday on Saturday I thought that I'd share with you my packing lists; and today I thought that I'd do my clothes packing list, all the shoes and clothes I take with me on holiday.

So first thing is underwear now it's pretty standard but I always take two extra pairs of underwear with me just in case; and I tend to take a mixture of invisible and ankle socks. For pyjamas I don't take that many I just tend to take a pair per week that I'm on holiday for but I always take a couple of options so some long bottoms and pyjama shorts because you never know what the temperature is going to be like in you're accommodation. If I'm staying somewhere where there is a pool or I might be going to the beach then I will take a swimming costume or bikini depending on where it is. I'm going to be taking 3 different costumes to Florida as we have a pool where were staying and we're going to water parks as well.
When it comes to tops I tend to take one for each day with a mixture of different styles depending on what the weather is forecast to be like and I also take a couple of more dressy ones two so I can make outfits work for both the day and the night. I take bottoms for about half the number of days I'm staying for and again I take a mix of casual and dressy and trousers and skirts depending on things like weather and what I'm planning on doing. I then also often take a dressy dress and if I'm going somewhere warm then I'll also take a few summer dresses too.
In terms of jackets it really depends on where I'm going if I'm going somewhere cold then I'll have a lot of cardigans and a coat but if the place I'm going id warm then I'll just take a couple of light jackets with me for if it gets cold in the evening. For shoes it really depends on where I'm going so for Florida I'm taking sandals, decathlon pumps, flip-flops and my trainers which I always take with me wherever I go as they are so comfy and also are good for travelling in.  Another thing I always take is a sports outfit which may seem slightly odd but I always like to take a sports bra, running leggings and a workout top for in case there is a gym or we decide to do something really active.

I hope you liked today's post if you did let me know and I'll do a what to pack for toiletries, see you on Wednesday,

Hello everyone,

Easy Ways to Earn Money

Hello Everyone,
so a little while ago I wrote a post on things you can do to help you manage your money better and if you haven't read that then you can click here to read it. But today I thought I'd write a post on different ways you can earn money and you need money to start off with so you can manage it. Also Spring break is coming up so you're going to need money to go shopping a do things with friends so here's how you can get some money to spend:

The first way is on survey websites these are websites that link companies to you and you get paid for your time. Companies want your opinions on different topic and pay you for giving them. A few websites that do this are Opinion Outpost, Swagbucks and Mysurvey are all good websites that you can often get more money from in voucher form so you can only spend it in specific shops but you get more money and can buy more things but on them you can also just get money.
Another way to earn money is to get a part-time or Saturday job at a local shop or cafe if you have a newsagents near you then you could also see if they are in need of someone to do a paper round. These can be great as you don't have to work too many hours and it's close to your house.
A good way to earn money without having to even leave your home is by doing jobs around your house. Ask your parents if there is anything you could do to help around the house like washing the cars or hoovering some rooms and see if they'll pay you for doing it.
You could also earn money from social media if you sign up to websites like izea.com and Activate (new from Bloglovin' as part of their influencer programme) which help you get paid for including certain content or promoting a product. I would only write about things I was genuinely interested in and liked not just write about them to get paid if the product you're promoting isn't actually very good.

I hope this has given you some inspiration to help you earn some money for spring break, I'll see you on Saturday,

A Little Update...

Hello everyone,
so I just want to start off by saying sorry for not uploading this past week; I have just been super busy I had exams, parents evening and then my whole art project is due in on Tuesday so I've had a lot to do. As well as that I've been a bit behind on writing my posts and taking photos as I usually have some stored in drafts so then if I do have a busy week all I need to do is upload them which is a good life hack; if you're a blogger or a youtuber, try and have blogposts or videos stored on you're laptop so you can still upload and post if you have a busy week. Also let me know in the comments if you have a blog or YouTube channel and I'll be sure to check it out. As well as that I would also love to see any suggestions you have for blogposts.
Okay so I've also decided to change my posting schedule; so I will still be posting on Saturday but instead of posting every week on Monday I'll be posting on Wednesday and then just occasionally on Monday too if I've got a lot of things I want to post and share with you guys.
And I'm going to Florida for two weeks at Easter so look forward to lots of fun and exciting travel posts and of course a haul when I get back!

Right so that is all for today but I will be back posting on Wednesday so I'll see you then,

Sweet Potato Fries

Hey Guys,
so I mentioned in my last post that I would write up the recipe I use to make sweet potato fries well I'm calling them fries but you don't actually fry them and you don't really do that much other than chop, season and bake the sweet potato so it's not really much of a recipe but I thought I would still share it with you anyway so you guys can know what to do if you haven't made them before and aren't sure how too. Also I've called them sweet potato fries but you don't actually fry them you bake them so they are a lot healthier for you than regular fries or chips.

What you need:
Sweet Potatoes
A Baking Tray
Baking Paper
Black Pepper
Olive Oil
A Knife
A Bowl
Salt

What to do:

You want to start off by lining a baking tray with grease proof paper and preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Depending on how many people you are making the fries for and how hungry you are as to how many baking trays you will need; I would say for 1-2 people you'll need only one tray and for 3-5 people you'll need two trays.
Then you want to chop up your sweet potato now you can either peel it or leave the skin on I personally like to leave it on but I slice off any bits that look bad and obviously wash it under cold water too. It depends on how hungry you are and how many of you are eating as too how many chips you need to cut up but I would say go with your instinct and you want to chop them quite think like pub chips/potato wedges size. I used two sweet potatoes this time because they were quite small but usually if they're just for me I'll only use one. Also can we just take a second to look at how orange these sweet potatoes were!

Once you've got all of your chips chopped up it's time to season them; this is where you can personalize them to your taste. So you want to place your chips in a bowl so it makes seasoning them easier. For mine I drizzled in a little bit of olive oil and then mixed all of the chips up so that all of the chips have olive oil on, you don't want them to be completely covered they just want to have got some oil on. Then you want to put on the classic seasoning ingredients of salt and pepper so I sprinkled some of both of then in then mixed it up and put a little bit more in. You could also add in any herbs and spices that you like for example you could add in paprika or rosemary.
After you've done with the seasoning you want to spread the fries out over the baking trays you lined earlier and place them in the oven. The fries should take between 20 and 30 minutes depending on how powerful your oven is and how chunky your chips are but I just keep and eye on it and take them out when I think they look done. I also recommend you turn the tray around after they've been in for about 15 minutes.
I just had the fries with some ketchup as I wasn't that hungry but usually I'll have some chicken with it, you can have it with whatever you fancy though just as a side dish or just have them on their own. I really like them because I am a really fussy eater so most of the time I'm not really keen on healthy alternatives of things but these I really like and they are a lot better for you as they aren't actually fried even though I keep calling them fries!

Let me know if you guys try them out and what you think of them and I'll see you on Monday,

A Few of My Favourite Things | February 2016

Hello Everyone,
I hope you all had a good valentines day yesterday weather you spent it with your partner or friends or if you just stayed at home and binge watch a show! Today I thought that I would go on the theme of love and share with you some of the things that I'm loving at the moment.

The first things I want to talk about are nail polishes; so for my birthday my friends got me some Ciate nail polishes which I absolutely love. I have pillow fight which is a really pretty lilac which is my favourite, mistress which is a nice bright red and ditch the heels which is a really nice teal colour. I also got three glitter polishes; I got a gold glitter called carousel, a dark midnight blue glitter called london baby and finally a nice snow white one called snow globe which I'm pretty sure will become one of my favourite winter polishes. I really love all of the different colours and the application of the nail polish is really nice as well as the brushes spread out when on the nail but not too much so you lose control over the brush.

I've been really liking listening to music this past month and my favourite songs have been PILLOWTALK by ZAYN, All My Friends by Snakehips ft. Tinashe and Chance the Rapper but my absolute favourite has to be Seven Years by Lukas Graham, it also has a really nice lyric video which is full of picture of him in the past (click here to see it)

One of my favourite TV programmes at the moment has been EastEnders I have been super hooked to it since I've been off the past week for half term. I also watched a couple of movies over half term which I would definitely recommend; I watched First Daughter which is about a presidents daughter who wants to live a normal life at college. The other film I watched was Notting Hill which was all about a celebrity who falls in love with a normal man and has the press following her everywhere so if you're feeling a bot down after valentines day and feeling like all you want to do is eat ice cream and watch a movie these films are really good and I definitely recommend them.

A little random favourite I want to throw in is washi tape. I got a rainbow set of washi tape as part of my birthday present from my parents and I've been really loving using it to personalise and decorate things like my folders and stuff for school.
My favourite social media lately has got to be Instagram; I've done two posts on my Instagram and you can click here to see them if you've not already.

The final thing I've been loving is sweet potato fries which is a bit of a random favourite but I have really been enjoying them. They are also super easy to make and I will be posting the quick and easy recipe on Saturday so luck forward to that,
see you then,

Review-Benefit's Triple Performing Facial Emulsion

Hey Guys,
so I thought that today I would do a review of a product that you've probably seen me mention to you quite a few times but I wanted to do a full review so I can properly rave about it to you so here we go...

The Triple Performing Facial Emulsion from benefit does as it say three things it helps to protect, comfort and hydrate your skin all in one and it also has SPF 15 PA ++ which is good too as no matter where you live the sun is always out even when it's raining or snowing and your skin needs protecting from it. I feel like putting on sun cream can be a chore and often we forget it because you think of it's winter and it's not that warm out so you don't need it but the sun's rays are always there and they can be very harmful to your skin; now I'm not saying coat yourself in  strong sun cream everyday but having products that you use regularly anyway with SPF in them doesn't hurt and helps you out a lot, so the moral of that long winded story is try and use moisturisers with SPF in them.
The moisturiser is also oil free which is perfect for my skin as I have combination skin that  normally fall under the normal/dry category in cosmetics and with it being oil free it doesn't feel greasy but it still really hydrates my skin. I really like how thin the consistency of the moisturiser is as well because it doesn't feel like you are smothering your face with moisturiser, it's  light and refreshing but you can still feel it working on your face and hydrating it.
Now the less serious stuff can we all just take a minute to look at and appreciate the packaging of the product because I think it is really nice I've had this for a while now but I still haven't chucked out the box it came in because I really like it.
The bottle that the actual moisturiser is in I'm pretty sure is glass and then there is a plastic pump on top where you can dispense the moisturiser; I usually use 3-4 pumps everyday depending on how dry my skin is feeling but you don't actually need that much of the moisturiser because I find that a little bit goes a long way. The bottle has a really nice lid as well which has a cork effect like covering to the plastic of it which just adds another cute little touch. The whole packaging together reminds me of the sea it kind of has quite a nautical theme to it with the greens and the beige.
The cost of the moisturiser if you buy it direct from Benefit is £23.50 but I have seen it for £18.00 before but if you want it but don't want to spend that much then keep your eye out for price reductions and offers like 20% off on beauty websites like look fantastic and feel unique place like that are really good if you are wanting beauty items for less so I definitely recommend checking them out.

I can't count the amount of times I wrote the word moisturiser in that but I hope you liked todays post let me know any posts you would like me to write in the comments and I'll see you on Monday,

3 Ingredient Microwave Fudge

Hey Guys,
so my mum told me about this recipe she heard about for microwave fudge that only needs 3 ingredients and only takes 90 seconds to make and I thought that I would share the recipe with you today.

You will need:
500g of Chocolate
397g Can of Condensed Milk
30g of Butter

What you need to do:

First of all you need to put all of the ingredients in a plastic microwave safe bowl; then you can set that to one side for a minute and get a baking tray and line it with parchment paper to put the fudge in.
After you have done that you can properly start on the fudge; what you want to do is place the bowl containing the ingredients in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time stirring the mixture in between each 30 seconds but you don't want you're fudge to be in the microwave for more than 90 seconds in total. I put mine in for two lots of 30 seconds and then for just 15 seconds more.
Once all the ingredients are melted and combined together you need to pour all of the mixture onto the baking tray you lined earlier; depending on how big your baking tray is you may need another tray to fit it all on. You want to spread all of your mixture out across the tray so that it's smooth as you can and then place it in the fridge to set.
After about 2 hours it should be set enough for you to cut into pieces and enjoy. Just a little tip the fudge I spread thinner was a lot easier to cut and take the fudge off the parchment paper.

I just used milk chocolate for my fudge but you can use any type of chocolate you like or a mix of different types of chocolate! You could also add in things like nuts or smarties all you'd need to do is once your mixture has been in the microwave mix whatever you like in and then just spread it on a baking tray and put it in the fridge. I f you didn't want it all mixed in then you could put pieces of nuts or sweets on top once you've spread the fudge out.

I hope you liked today's post and let me know if you try out the recipe, I have also updated my pinterest page so all of my blogposts are now pinned to my page including this one so you can click here to got to my board, I'll see you on Saturday,

My Favourite Apps

Hey everyone,
I thought that since we all spend so much of our day on our phones that today I would share with you some of my favourite apps that I use on my phone. (also please ignore the air bubbles on my phone screen)

The first app I'm loving is Instagram; I go through phases with social media but one I tend to love most of the time is Instagram. I just like how it is mainly picture based as I absolutely love taking photos. Also I've done a couple posts sharing my Instagram photos with you so if you haven't seen my latest one of them then click here to see it now.
The second app I want to mention was recommended to me by one of my friends Pippa and I have been using it quite regularly and it is the app SWORKIT. It's a workout app that you can create custom workouts on for you to do and pick the area you want to workout, the exercises you want to be in it and how long the workout is. All of the workouts also don't require any equipment so you can literally do it anywhere and everywhere which I really like.
I've currently been really into TV programmes and have been watching a lot on the BBC iPlayer App and one of my favourite programmes The Great Interior Design Challenge has just started again this week which I definitely recommend you guys give it a watch and I feel like it's an enjoyable programme even if you're not super interested in interior design. I also really like watching Dragons' Den and The Great Sport Relief.
An app that I use for school is The HW App which I think has to be the most useful app on my phone. You can put your timetable on it and then you can see what lessons you've got in the day when you swipe down to check your notifications. You also can obviously put your homework on the app and set reminders to do your assignments; I also put down the dates of my tests on it too so I don't forget to revise.
Now Bloglovin' is an app that I have been using loving for ages as it's so useful and handy as it allows you to see all your favourite bloggers posts in one space. You can quickly see them and can also save blogposts you like so you can read them again later. you can also follow me on there if you're not doing already by just clicking on the bloglovin' icon on the side of this post above my popular posts. Then you can see my posts even quicker and easier.
The final app I want to mention is Color, It's an app that I've been very addicted too since the beginning of the year I play it all the time on my way to school or when I'm waiting for the bus. It's really fun and if you haven't played it then I definitely recommend you download it and give it a play.
I also really like the app VSCO Cam but I'm thinking of doing a post on how I edit my Instagram photos so I'll talk about it in that.

I hope you liked today's post and why don't you let me know in the comments what you're favourite app is on your phone, see you on Monday,

What's in My Bag | Winter 2016

Hello everyone,
so as you can tell by the title I am going to be doing a what's in my bag post today because I actually haven't done one before and I thought since I like being nosy and seeing what people keep in their bags so here is what I keep in mine.
So let's start off with my bag it is actually from surprise surprise PRIMARK! I can't actually remember how much it was because I got it a while ago but I'm sure it wasn't more than £10. I really like this bag because it's the perfect size; it's not massive so I cram loads of stuff in to fill the space but it's not too small either so you can fit all of you're actual essentials in.
Inside my bag I have another little one thats from Ted Baker, it was actually part of my secret Santa present from one of my best friends. I like having this in my bag to put all of my small essentials in because then I can also transfer it quickly into a different bag.

So in the bag I have a few beauty things, I've got a deodorant, hand sanitizer and lip balm which are all just super handy and useful to have in your bag. Then I have a few hair bobbles and grips because you never know when you or a friend are going to need them and I have a pack of gum as well. I also have a couple of plasters because otherwise you never have one when you want one. The last thing I have in my little bag is my headphones which are held neatly in two butterfly clips that have like a bobble connecting them I don't know where I got it from but using just one butterfly clip works just as well.

In my bag I also have my purse, phone and an umbrella because lets face it if you live in England you need an umbrella all year round! My purse was actually a Christmas present from my friend's mum who kindly bought me a Jack Wills purse. (also little side note please excuse the ridiculous amount of air bubbles on my phone screen I need to get a new protector) I also usually have a pack of tissues and a pen in my bag but for some reason they weren't in my bag when I was taking photos of everything in my bag!

Okay so that is everything that is in my bag let me know the one thing you always have to have in your bag in the comments and I'll see you on Saturday,

5 Tips to Help you Manage Your Money

Hello everyone,
today I thought I'd share with you some of my 5 top tips to do with finance and how to spend your money wisely so without any further ado lets get straight into it:

1. Plan
Plan out spending your money; so work out how much money you have at the time and then workout what you need for essential things like food and then you can see how much you've got left and think about what you have coming up before you allow yourself to go on a shopping spree.

2. Budget
You need to budget your money but it needs to be sensible otherwise it won't work. Calculate how much money you actually need in that situation and then take just that amount with you. For example if you're going out for a meal look up the menu online first and see the prices and work out how much the meal is going to cost and then just take that amount with you.

3. Think
When you're about to buy something whether it be online or in-store you need to stop and think. Ask yourself these three questions:
  • Do you really like it?
  • Do you actually need it?
  • Can you afford it?
and if the answer is yes to all of those questions then go ahead a buy the item but if the answer is not yes to all of those question then don't buy it! This way you won't be wasting your money, buying silly things or spending money you haven't got.

4. Save
Try and save your money. Now you can do this in a few different ways you can just simply put a large sum money to one side but that can be quite hard to do so try either just saving all of your coppers you get in your purse or if you are saving for a specific reason then try just saving one coin for example 20p you'd be surprised how much money you can save up if you just take any 20p coins you have out of your purse every night.
If you don't have anything in particular you're saving for then still try and save. It's always good to be saving because you never know when you might need to buy something expensive or then when you do see something you want you are already a bit of the way there to getting it.

5. Re-use
You don't want to waste your money and spend it on things you don't need so try to re-use things and not buy things until you actually need them; so before you buy something think have I already got something similar I could use. Also look around your house because you'll be surprised how much stuff you own and what you have that could be used for something practical.

I hope todays post has been helpful if you've got any other tips then leave them in the comments, see you on Monday,

Revision Essentials

Hello Everyone,

Sorry I din't post on Monday I was busy doing homework and revising so I thought that instead of only posting on Saturday this week I decided to write a post today on my revision essentials so here it is:

My first essential is highlighters they are probably my number one revision essential they're so useful to help pick out the key words and can also help key points stand out in your notes.
The next is similar to the last but it's coloured pens these are useful if you have a lot of different things on a page sometimes you don't have enough different colours of highlighters. They also help me if I've got diagrams I need to learn then I use them to label each of the different parts.
Post-its and flashcards are my next essential; if I've got formulas or something like that to learn then I write it on a post-it note a stick it somewhere I look often like on my mirror or by my door.
Flash cards are just so useful to just jot down the key points and terms you need to learn; you can also use them to test yourself if you write a term on one side and the definition on the other and keep going through them and mixing them up so you have to say either the definition or the term to help you learn them. You can also use them for diagrams as well.
If you have long journeys then to avoid having to carry loads of flashcards around with you I recommend downloading the app Quizlet then all of your cards will be on your phone so you can access them super quickly and revise on the go. This way you also use your time productively while having to travel a long way.
My last essential is Revision guides they are so helpful to use; you can just look up the topic you need to learn about and find it summarised and explained in the book. You need to make sure that you get the right revision guide for your exam board, if you're not sure which ones are for you then you can always ask your teacher for recommendations.

I hope todays post helped you see you on Saturday,

My 4 Favourite Scents

Hey guys,
so today I thought that I would share with you my favourite scents of the moment; I'm currently really liking quite strong but kinda fruity/spring like scents because then I just forget that it's really cold outside and look forward to spring and then summer! Also I'm
more of a body mist kinda gal rather than perfume gal, I just find then scents nicer and I just generally prefer the whole application as well.
The first one I want to talk to you about was bought for me by my friends for my birthday and it's the Victoria's Secret Fragrance mist in Pure Seduction. Now this I would describe as a mixture of fruit and flower I'm not too sure how to describe it but if you ever are passing Victoria's Secret then I definetly recommend going in and smelling a few of their fragrances because they all smell really nice.

The next body mist I want to metion is also from Victoria's Secret but this one is from the PINK side of the shop; it's the scent fresh & clean, now personally I don't really think the name suits the scent I would see clean & fresh as like the Yankee Candle in laundry fresh or clean cotton and this is definetly not that scent! It is more of a flowery scent but I do think that this scent is my favourite out of all of the PINK scents.

This was also bought for me for my Borthday by another one of my friends and I mentioned this scent in my post last Saturday and it's the Vineyard Peach scent from the Body Shop this I don't even know how to explain the smell but I really love it!

the final body mist I want to talk to you about is one I've been loving for a long time now and it's the Hollister California Crescent Bay Body Mist. This just reminds me of summer and holidays and is very nice this bottle as you can see is nearly empty but don't worry I've got another bottle ready for when this one runs out. I actually also mentioned this scent in last Saturday's blogpost and if you haven't read hat then be sure to check it out its full of all my tips and products to help your skin survive the winter weather.

That's all for today's post see you on Monday,
